This teaching is about being strong in God’s love for us and how to apply His love in our walk. It opens with the beautiful context of John 3:16. When the world turns away from the true God, it turns away from true love. People were bound to die but God’s provision, love, and grace provided a way out of death. The world didn’t love God, but God loved the world. God paid a very high price for us, but we are worth it. We are loveable. This Christian walk is not about pressure, but, instead, it’s about love. The more we understand God’s love for us, the easier it is for us to love Him. We commit our lives to God, not out of obligation, but because we love the Master. We see God’s love in our life and Christ’s accomplishments and then we decide not to live for ourselves anymore. There are many results of God’s love for us: He gave His son, we have eternal life and sonship, we can overcome hurt, we cast our care on Him, we love Him, we are committed to Him, we keep His commandants, we can love others, and we want to live for Him and His son.
